Advanced Call Detail Records (CDR) Analysis

This course will strengthen attendee's understanding and effectiveness in the identification, use and display of information derived from Call Detail Records (CDR) and distinct cellular data.
This course will teach the student how to Plot/Fix the area from which calls were made/received using CDR and tower data. We will include information relevant to local cellular providers and how they present CDRs together with tower data.
Who should attend: Technical investigators, public safety, law enforcement, and homeland security professionals that need to have a good working knowledge of CDR formats and content that is provided by various service providers.
What you will learn: A complete week (5 days) of instruction on CDRs where the attendees will work with and analyze various technologies & formats of CDRs and Cell Site Information.
Upon completion of this training the attendee will be able to:
- Explain the content in a CDR, RTT, and PCMD
- Identify tower information needed in an investigation, Tower Dump, Cell site Analysis
- Create a tower in Google Earth Pro
- Analyze tower data using Excel
- Create Pivot tables using Excel, Link Analysis
- Explain the difference between Nortel and Lucent towers
Each student will receive a Certificate of Completion for 40 Hours of CDR Training.
