Job Description / Responsibilities
The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA) is currently seeking experienced, Virginia Certified Officers to join its team of highly qualified, well-trained, Airport Police Officers for the Police Department. Positions may be at either Ronald Reagan Washington National or Washington Dulles International Airports. Excellent Opportunity and Benefits! Salary
Commensurate with experience.
Qualifications
To be eligible, candidates must meet the following criteria:
a.) provide proof of certification
b.) be a U.S. Citizen
c.) be at least 21 years of age or within 6 months of your 21st birthday
d.) be a high school graduate or possess a GED equivalent
e.) have a valid driver’s license from your state of residence
f.) meet Visual Acuity standards (Far vision must be at least 20/30 in each eye corrected with lenses or spectacles. Uncorrected far vision must be at least 20/100 in each eye. Visual field performance without correction shall be 140 degrees in the horizontal median of each eye.)
