VACP Executive Director Dana Schrad has prepared a final report on legislation important to Virginia law enforcement from the 2010 Virginia General Assembly.
Summary:
- 2,964 bills were introduced: 1,598 passed both the House and Senate; 1,093 bills failed. There were no Governor’s vetoes.
- 273 bills were carried over for consideration by the 2011 General Assembly, or to be addressed by a legislative panel between sessions.
