Dana G. Schrad | Executive Director

Implements the strategic goals and objectives of the organization; assists the Executive Board in fulfilling its governance function; provides direction and leadership toward the achievement of the organization's philosophy, mission, strategy, and its annual goals and objectives; directs the operations and administration of Association; oversees design, marketing, promotion, delivery and quality of programs, products and services of Association; manages organization's financial resources; manages personnel; serves as spokesperson for the Association.

Audrey F. Altovilla | Events & Membership Manager

Responsible for all aspects of conference planning for the association (Annual Conference and Midyear Meeting), including hotel and other associated contract negotiations, registration, exhibits, scheduling, etc; handles hotel accommodations for the DEL/MAR/VA block at the IACP Conference. Manages daily activities of membership including member inquiries, dues payments, database management, updating current members and processing new memberships; creates and distributes printed membership directories. Manages the Testing Services Program, including processing orders and invoices and addressing inquiries.

Manages the design and implementation of all of VACP's communications, including web sites, newsletters, brochures, and other print and electronic publications. Promotes activities and programs of the association. Assists with general inquiries, conference activities, awards, and other member services. Responsible for Smart, Safe & Sober web site, newsletter, and calendar. Also serves as VACP’s photographer and IT coordinator.

C. Suzanne Robinson | Grants Manager

Manages the Association's traffic safety grants. Serves as the liaison between the Association's Law Enforcement Liaisons and the Virginia Highway Safety Office. Manages accounts receivable and performs monthly bank reconciliations.

Law Enforcement Liaisons

The VACP employs three regional law enforcement liaisons for Virginia's Highway Safety Office (DMV) as part of our involvement in the Smart, Safe & Sober Partnership. Each LEL's responsibilities include, among other things, communicating and working with the law enforcement agencies in their respective regions to facilitate those agencies’ participation in national traffic safety campaigns; assisting with the statewide coordination of these traffic safety campaigns; providing a multitude of different traffic safety trainings for law enforcement; and promoting and assisting agencies with participation in the annual Law Enforcement Challenge competition for the best comprehensive agency/organization traffic safety programs.
