Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age
• Proportional in height and weight
• Corrected vision of 20/20 or better in each eye
• Graduate from accredited high school or GED certificate, some college preferred
• Possess a valid Virginia driver’s license

• Successfully complete a written exam, psychological evaluation, physical fitness test, and background investigation

Certified Police Officer: $36,000 to $61,789 (DOQ)
Recruit Police Officer: $32,779 to $61,789
