BRISTOL, Tenn. – A growing number of family members are burdened with the frightful prospect that loved ones with Alzheimer’s disease or similar disorders will wander away.It’s an issue that continues to be addressed by a local law enforcement partnership called Project Lifesaver of Bristol.
In 2006, officers from the Bristol Tennessee Police Department and the Bristol Virginia Sheriff’s Office started the project.

LA CROSSE — The results of a recent survey asking La Crosse residents to weigh in with their opinions regarding the town’s police department are all in, and the results are for the most part extremely encouraging.
