Fredericksburg officer shot and killed

A Fredericksburg police officer and a suspect were killed late Friday night in a shot-filled incident fueled by the suspect’s apparent obsession with a former girlfriend.Officer Todd Bahr, 40, a member of the city force for just under two years, was killed by a single gunshot wound to the head. Bahr's death is the first time since 1964 that the Fredericksburg Police Department has lost an officer in the line of duty.
The VACP requests that Virginia law enforcement officers shroud their badges through the day of memorial services for Officer Bahr – Thursday, June 12.
