Academy gave residents a look inside Chesapeake Police

For the past 13 weeks, almost two dozen Chesapeake residents have been shooting guns, handling illegal drugs, taking rides in police cars and spending time in the Chesapeake City Jail.
The residents aren't criminals, though. They're participants in Chesapeake's Citizens Police Academy.
