Affiliate Organizations

The Virginia Association of Chiefs of Police & Foundation (VACP) has relationships with three affiliate organizations. These organizations are not committees or chapters of the VACP, but rather related associations of law enforcement professionals that have formally requested the management of their independently governed associations by the VACP staff. Upon approval of a group's request for management by the VACP Executive Board, the affiliate group must maintain a management relationship with the VACP in compliance with the rules of group exemption established by the Internal Revenue Service in order to acquire and retain its group affiliation with the Association.
