Passing of VACP Past President Pat Minetti, Chief of Police (Ret.), Hampton

The VACP has learned of the passing of retired Hampton Police Chief Pat Minetti on Monday, August 27.  Chief Minetti was a Past President of the VACP (1988-89) and a dear man who will be missed.

The following is the obituary for Chief Minetti which includes date, time and location of visitation on Friday, August 31 and funeral services on Saturday, September 1.

Virginia Capitol Police exhibit opens

August 2018 Edition of the Virginia Criminal Justice Bulletin

The Radford University Department of Criminal Justice is pleased to distribute the fourth issue of the Virginia Criminal Justice Bulletin.  The purpose of the Virginia Criminal Justice Bulletin is to provide timely information about court cases, legislative actions, and general subject matter of interest to criminal justice legal advisors and practitioners in Virginia. 

This edition of the Bulletin also includes an online anonymous survey RU is asking law enforcement officers to consider completing.
