VACP Advisory Regarding Donations to Law Enforcement Organizations

The Virginia Association of Chiefs of Police would like to remind citizens to review solicitations for donations carefully – particularly from supposedly law enforcement-supporting organizations – and to research who is asking for your money before sending in that donation. The VACP is a 501(c)3 charitable organization and accepts donations, but does not engage in direct solicitation.
