Front Royal Police Chief Magalis Announces Retirement

Chief Kerry Magalis retires October 31, 2024 after 7 years as chief in Front Royal.
The Town of Front Royal announces the retirement of Chief Kerry “Kahle” Magalis, who will officially step down on October 31, 2024, after 7 years of dedicated service. Chief Magalis joined the Front Royal Police Department in October 2017, bringing with him a wealth of experience from his previous roles at Warren County Sheriff's Office. A graduate of the FBI National Academy's 264th session, Chief Magalis has been a dedicated member of the Front Royal community, actively involved in various service organizations.

To honor his service and celebrate his retirement, the Town will host a gathering on Thursday, October 24th, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Front Royal Volunteer Fire Department Company 1, located at 221 N. Commerce Ave., Front Royal, VA.
