The Town of Louisa, Virginia is accepting applications from DCJS Certified Law Enforcement Officers, for the position of police patrol officer. The duties for this position include, but are not limited to, patrolling the Town of Louisa for the purpose of engaging in crime prevention activities, apprehending traffic and criminal violators, and investigating criminal complaints and traffic crashes. The Louisa Police Department subscribes to the principles of community policing, and therefore works closely with our citizens and businesses to ensure a safe environment in which to work and live.
