Implements the strategic goals and objectives of the organization; assists the Executive Board in fulfilling its governance function; provides direction and leadership toward the achievement of the organization's philosophy, mission, strategy, and its annual goals and objectives; directs the operations and administration of Association; oversees design, marketing, promotion, delivery and quality of programs, products and services of Association; oversees organization's financial resources; manages personnel; serves as spokesperson for the Association.

Responsible for all of the VACP's communications and marketing, including web sites, social media channels, community platform, e-newsletters, photography, and other print and electronic publications. Responsible for all IT implementation and management. Responsible for all daily financial management (accounts payable/receivable, grant reimbursement vouchers, bookkeeping, etc). Assists the Executive Director with administrative tasks, board and committee management, personnel management, conference planning, grant reporting, and implementing new initiatives. Manages the VACP Awards program and the VACP's Law Enforcement Executive Certification program. Engaged in activities on the association's highway safety grant.

Also serves in this capacity for the Virginia Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators (VACLEA).

Audrey F. Altovilla | Events & Membership Manager

Responsible for all aspects of conference planning for the VACP (Annual Conference and Midyear Meeting) & VACLEA (Summer Conference and Winter Conference), including hotel and other associated contract negotiations, registration, exhibits, scheduling, etc; handles hotel accommodations for the DEL/MAR/VA block at the IACP Conference. Manages daily activities of VACP & VACLEA memberships, including member inquiries, dues payments, database management, updating current members and processing new memberships.

Manages the Testing Services Program, including processing orders and invoices and addressing inquiries.


Stephanie Diaz | Programs Manager

Plans, coordinates, and facilitates VACP Leadership Education programs: First Line Supervisors Training, Institute for Leadership in Changing Times (ILCT), Professional Executive Leadership School (PELS), and New Chiefs/Deputy Chiefs School.  Manages VACP Program Scholarships, VACP Training Committee, PELS Alumni Section, the PELS Selection Committee, and VACP fundraising events.  Manages the First Responders Naloxone program
