National Center for Open and Unsolved Cases: A Game Changer in Solving Crime
Event Details
On July 30th from 3 PM to 5 PM EST, the National Center for Open & Unsolved Cases (OpenUnsolved.org) will demonstrate a first-of-its-kind national platform – HOLMES – specifically developed to link law enforcement and the public together to solve open and unsolved cases. The demonstration is a vital step in making HOLMES operational by showing how cases are linked to citizens and the current feature set. An agenda will be sent before July 30th.
The National Center for Open & Unsolved Cases (NCOUC) is a project between the U.S. Department of Justice / COPS Office, the Virginia Association of Chiefs of Police & Foundation, Inc., and the Chesterfield County Police Department. Developed with grants from the COPS Office, NCOUC is a no-cost resource to law enforcement and the public.
The demonstration will be delivered via Microsoft Teams. You can download the application for Mac or PC here, or use the web app when logging in.
