LEECP Application Submission Received

Your application to the VACP's Law Enforcement Executive Certification Program (LEECP) has been received! The Program Committee will review your application and contact you if they have any questions.

Upon approval of your application, you will be issued an invoice for the initial certification program fee. Your certification will be issued after payment of the program fee is received.  Please do not attempt to pay the program fee BEFORE your application is approved.

Certifications are valid for three (3) years from the date of issuance. In order to renew your certification at the three-year mark, you will need to:

• be actively employed as a sworn law enforcement officer for a VA agency with primary law enforcement responsibility at the time of application for re-certification;
• have maintained DCJS law enforcement officer certification by completing the required hours of approved training every 2 years;
• remained a member in good standing with the VACP during the preceeding 3 years; and,
• regularly attended VACP/VACLEA conferences during the preceeding 3 years (3 in 3 years for CEOs // 1 in 3 years for Command Executives).
