Parker Jernigan Appointed as Town of Windsor Police Chief

WINDSOR POLICE CHIEF APPOINTMENT

As the Town Manager of the Town of Windsor, I am pleased to announce that after a long and thorough process, Grafton Parker Jernigan has been appointed Chief of Police for the Town of Windsor. 

Jernigan has been with the Town of Windsor since 2010, most recently serving as the Interim Chief of Police since July 2026.  He has done an exceptional job in the role of Interim Chief since his appointment to that position. 

I feel confident in Chief Jernigan’s ability to fill the role of Chief of Police and know that he will serve the Town of Windsor with honesty, integrity, and unwavering dedication.
